Light Demolition

Before and after shed removal showing old wooden shed demolished and cleared from property

I offer light demolition for small residential and commercial projects with full cleanup and debris removal. With 25 years of hands-on construction experience, I have the knowledge to handle both interior and exterior demolition projects.

I focus exclusively on demolition, cleanup, and debris removal. I do not offer construction or renovation services.

Based in Cazenovia, NY.

Serving Madison and Onondaga County.

Common Light Demolition Projects I Handle

I offer light demolition for a wide range of small residential and commercial projects, including:

  • Sheds and small structures
  • Above ground pools and hot tubs
  • Drywall, plaster/lath, paneling and other wall materials
  • Cabinets, countertops and built-ins
  • Full room or interior gut-outs (including kitchens, bathrooms, basements and finished spaces)
  • Deck boards, railings and stairs
  • Fences
  • Carpet, tile and other flooring
  • Interior clean-outs prior to renovation

And more!

Note: I do not offer full house demolition, roof removal, or siding removal.

If you’re not sure whether your project is a good fit, feel free to reach out with a couple photos and your location.

A Great Fit If You’re…

  • A DIY homeowner planning a renovation who wants the demo done quickly, cleanly, and safely

  • A homeowner who does not want to deal with dust, debris, or multiple dump runs

  • A contractor or remodeler who needs reliable demo and debris removal handled efficiently

  • Someone who wants the space fully cleared and ready for the next phase of work

I’ve completed many demolition projects for homeowners who plan to do the renovation themselves but do not want to tackle the hard, dirty part or deal with hauling everything away. I work efficiently, keep the job site clean, and remove all debris so the space is ready for whatever comes next.

Most people are surprised by how fast the work gets done. That comes from experience and efficiency.

Pricing

Most light demolition projects are billed hourly due to unknowns that can be uncovered once work begins.

I provide rough estimates whenever possible. Most projects require an in-person site visit, though some estimates can be given based on photos alone.

In certain cases, a flat price is possible when the scope of work is very clear and there is little risk of unexpected conditions.

All jobs include full cleanup and debris removal.

If you would like an estimate, feel free to reach out with a brief description. I am happy to take a look and let you know next steps.

Just need help hauling debris or handling the cleanup?

Many light demolition projects overlap with my junk removal and dump trailer "dumpster" rental services. If you are doing the demo work yourself, I can help with loading, hauling and disposal. Or if you want to handle the loading, I can drop off a trailer, you load it, and then I haul it to the dump.

Just let me know what you are planning, how much physical work you want to handle yourself, and we can determine the best option for your needs.
