Landscape Material Delivery
I deliver a wide range of landscape materials sourced from trusted local suppliers, including mulch, topsoil, compost, gravel and more. Deliveries are handled using my dump trailers for clean, accurate placement at your property.
Based in Cazenovia, NY, serving Madison and Onondaga County.
How My Material Delivery Works
To get started, contact me for a quote. Once we confirm the material, quantity, and delivery address, I can provide a firm price for your delivery. You can use the material calculator below to estimate how much material you need.
I use 12-yard dump trailers for material deliveries, with a maximum carrying capacity of 4.5 tons (9,000 lb). Some materials are very heavy, which may limit the amount I can haul per load. In these cases, I am limited by weight rather than cubic yards. Load limits for each material are listed below.
Pricing is calculated to the exact delivery address and depends on the material and supplier location. Since many materials are available from multiple local suppliers at different price points, I select the supplier closest to your delivery location with the best overall material price to keep your total cost as low as possible. Sales tax is added to every delivery unless you provide a tax exempt form.
Deliveries require a firm, mostly level surface. I cannot deliver on soft lawns or muddy areas, as this may cause damage. I also cannot deliver on steep hills, as dumping on steep grades can be unsafe and may cause tipping.
Dump trailers unload best on level ground or a slight downhill grade, which allows the material to slide out naturally. If the trailer is positioned on an incline, material may not fully slide out during dumping.
Thick plastic sheeting is available upon request. This is helpful if you want to dump material on top of gravel or grass and makes cleanup easier.
Material Calculator
Not sure how much material you need? Enter your total square footage below, or use the shape diagrams and calculators on the right to figure out your area first. All measurements in feet, except depth in inches.
Have multiple areas? Calculate one at a time and add the results together.
Estimates are approximate. Actual delivery size may be limited by weight depending on the material. If you're unsure, it's always okay to round up.
Know your square footage? Enter it with the depth below.
