Dump Trailer "Dumpster" Rental
Rent a dump trailer for your next project from Borsellino Home Services! Dump trailers are perfect for DIYers, Businesses or Contractors who don't need a huge dumpster. They won't damage your driveway or lawn (as long as the lawn is not wet/soft) which is a common problem with traditional dumpsters.
I have 3 sizes to choose from; 6, 12 and 15 yard capacity. If you aren't sure which size you need just contact me and I can help you determine which size is the best for you. I also offer full service Junk Removal if you want help loading the dump trailer.

- First and foremost, when you call you'll always talk to me (Nick Borsellino). I don't have employees so I'm always the one to drop off and pickup your trailer.
- I am priced competitevely and all of my rentals have an included weight limit for disposal based on the trailer's size. For most junk cleanouts or construction projects this weight limit is enough to not have to worry about overage fees.
- I RECYCLE! I ask that recyclable and special items be loaded into the trailer last and I remove them from the load for recycling before dumping. I do my best to recycle as much as I can to keep things out of the landfill. Traditional dumpster companies bring your load directly to the landfill and everything is treated as garbage. They may not take certain items at all such as paint, electronics, batteries, and other special items, but I do.

Pricing & More Info
3 Day Rental. Most customers fill a trailer in under 24 hours but I will leave a trailer up to 3 days if needed. The most popular rental timeframe is Friday thru Monday for weekend projects. I try to accomodate my customer's needs as much as possible so if you have a specific duration in mind just ask. If you need it for less than 3 days just let me know when you're ready for pickup and I'll come get it ASAP.
Prices include Dropoff, Pickup, Hauling, Trailer Rental and Disposal of included weight limit. Overweight fees are based on the type of material and what county the job is located in.
Important: Customers are not allowed to tow or move the trailer themselves for insurance and liability reasons.
Customer will be liable for any damage they cause to the trailer.
Additional charges may apply for Add-ons & Special Items (more info below). Please load Special Items in last so I can remove them before going to the landfill and recycle or dispose of them properly. If these items are buried in the load and found while dumping you may be charged additional fees.
DO NOT mix dirt or yard waste with trash. Small insignificant quantities are okay but dirt and yard waste gets disposed of separately than trash. I can take those for you in a separate load. See list of Accepted and Unacceptable Materials below.
PLEASE DO NOT OVERFILL THE TRAILER! I will tarp the trailer before traveling but it has to be packed safely and not overflowing with junk. If I have to repack or remove items to travel safely you may be charged an inconvenience fee and some items may be left behind if they cannot be transported safely.
Local Pricing! These prices are for the Cazenovia area only, within 5 miles of 48 Fenner Street. Outside of that radius there are additional mileage fees. This ensures that I am able to offer the lowest pricing possible to local customers.
All prices subject to Sales Tax which may vary by town or county. Standard sales tax is New York is 8%.

Add-ons & Special Items
These items are unacceptable in regular trash but I can recycle or dispose of them properly for you. Contact me if you have any of these items to add to the load and I can go over the additional costs, if any.
Please load these items last into the trailer so I can pull them out before dumping at the landfill. If these items are buried in the load and found while dumping you may be charged additional fees.

- Items containing freon (air conditioner, dehumidifier, refrigerator, freezer, etc)
I can also take loads of dirt, clean fill, hard fill, yard waste, and other materials. These are priced differently than trash so contact me for a quote.

Accepted Materials:

Acceptable as C&D:
- Bricks, concrete and masonry (No larger than 3'x3'x4")
- Cardboard (that is incedental to load)
- Electrical fixtures (Ballasts and transformers accepted, but must be removed from fixture. No ballasts or transformers with PCBs)
- Electrical wiring
- Glass
- Metal (that is incedental to load)
- Non-asbestos insulation (e.g., pink fiberglass insulation)
- Paint cans (Must be empty and dry, without lids)
- Plumbing fixtures
- Roofing shingles
- Rocks (No larger than 2'x2'x2')
- Siding
- Wall covering, drywall, plaster, etc
- Wood: untreated, pallets (No larger than 4’ in any dimension)
Acceptable as MSW:
- Appliances / white goods (Surcharge for items with refrigerants.)
- Carpeting
- Furniture
- Household garbage
- Mattresses (Surcharge) and box springs
- Metal (No large machinery)
- Microwaves (Surcharge)
- Tires (Surcharge)
- Treated woods (No longer than 4’)
Note: In Onondaga County if MSW materials are mixed with C&D materials, you will be charged the higher rate for MSW for the whole load.
IMPORTANT: I cannot accept or dispose of any of the items listed below. You will be charged $30 minimum per item and a landfill dig out fee if these are found in the load after dumping. These materials may be returned to you.

Clothing and Other Donatable Items
If you have clothing, furniture or other items to donate, there are many drop off locations throughout the area.
The Key on Albany St in Cazenovia takes clothing and other items.
There is a Salvation Army in Chittenango and one on Erie Blvd in Syracuse. They take clothing, furniture and household items.
There is a Thrifty Shopper drop off located behind Wegman’s in DeWitt. They take clothing and small household items.
You can also drop off clothes at the Transfer Station at 3422 Constine Bridge Rd in Cazenovia.
* This is only a few of the donation drop offs in the area.
Please do not overfill the trailer. Doing so makes it unsafe and illegal to haul.
If the trailer is overloaded, I'll need to rearrange it or take items out and leave them behind. You'll be charged an additional fee for this inconvenience, so please be mindful.
